The end of an era...

[The LS Avenger]

Hi guys (we're all guys here, right ?)

Well, today 3/22 this fellow Brian P from CT hauled off the Integra wreck, the whole thing ! He's going to use all the parts to restore/soup up a 94 LS coupe that has 160K, an auto tranny, and some front body panel damage -- the perfect candidate for my donor parts (other than a hybrid Civic).

Not to say I wont lurk around from time to time, but my posting will definitely drop off pretty significantly.

I want to thank Jim (JRCivic) Lundgren, Holden, CROM, Chuck R, to name just a few for all the support, advice, and in general good vibes for the past 3 years -- it was in springtime 2000 that the JRSC had just come out for the GSR, nothing existed for the LS, and (nostalgic mode on) we were all so young then (nostalgia off) hehehe.

It's been a real education and thats something I cant put a pricetag on. Im surely going to be able to apply some of what Ive learned on the WRX, and beyond....

congrats on the bubaru, i got hookups on turbos and what not and can work on them, just let me know if you need anything, check out www.nasioc.com for all your subie needs.

Get yourself an aftermarket turbo and intercooler and run some 12's!! (meaning, kick my ass until I build my LS1 powered FD RX7)

Have fun with the WRX. My friend bought a new WRX wagon a couple months ago. Then he picked up an STI turbo and injectors, remapped the ECU for the extra boost, 3" exhaust. Like a grand worth of parts. . . now that car is FAST. I love stock turbos. [img]tongue.gif[/img]

Hey Steve, and everyone else this is Brian. Just letting you know the car didn't fall off the trailor on the way home!!! lol.

Thanks for the car and for pointing me to this forum too. I have just started poking around and I can see theres tons of information to be gained here.

I haven't even had time to do anything with the cars I've been so busy, but this weekend I hope to take out the drivetrain of your car at least and get things cleaned up and ready. I'm gonna take a lot of pictures so if you want I'll send some to you to keep you updated on whats happening and I'll probably be posting a bunch too.

It's good to see everything worked out for you in the end. It's always nice to see a bad situation turn into a good situation. Anyway, I guess I'll be seeing you on ClubWRX or I-club now? I go by waveoff there as well.
